at the nature park (02/16/15)

I snapped a few photos, things haven’t started turning to spring yet, but I thought there were interesting colors.

Like these yellow branches.

And these red branches.

And the glow through this cattail fuzz.

Are these some kind of coots? I need to look them up. Hmm, must find the bird book. We saw a bald eagle a couple times, high in the sky. I aimed my camera in its direction but couldn’t see it in my finder, but snapped a few useless snaps anyway. No luck.
