I love this guy’s little half smile.



I find it difficult to juxtapose enough highlights to make a dark color seem full of life, but look, I did it!



It’s hard to go wrong with bunnies. Bunnies are just so sweet.

Since we’re doing the whole cyber sale days, I thought I’d better get the paintings I have done up and out there right away–so I’ll be listing 2 a day for the next couple days.

I absolutely love the colors in this goat. She has fabulous curled ears, and such an engaging expression.

Sometimes when painting I start by trying to achieve a certain look, and am happy when the result it close to what I imagined. Other times I just sit down with colors and see what happens (now and then, with disastrous results). This bunny turned out wonderfully with the mix of light and shadows through his colors–and yep, I planned it that way. I will just stick with that.
