thrifting saturday

I haven’t been posting thrifting finds lately because of a combination not-going-out-much/not-finding-anything. Saturdays and Sundays are horrible for finding anything, so I just don’t go. It’s a rare weekend I walk out with something in my hand. That said, today I actually found some things! Remember I had a post about wanting to do aContinue reading “thrifting saturday”

chickadee pillowcase pattern

Remember I said I was going to design my own pattern to embroider on a pillowcase? I finally got around to it. It’sContinue reading “I did finish knitting the shawl”

A little time for embroidery

I can’t believe I was able to start and finish both these projects this weekend. For the Amy shirt, this is the first time I’ve tried applique like this, with stitchwichery used between the layers. I don’t like it. Is there another product on the market that does the same thing? Preferably a liquid youContinue reading “A little time for embroidery”

making Christmas gifts

While I’m blogging, I did want to link to some of the things I’m making for Christmas. I can’t figure out how to make a hidden post, so if you are someone I am likely to give a gift to–don’t follow the links! This first one is a quicky for either a stocking stuffer orContinue reading “making Christmas gifts”
