A customer in Arizona sent me a bunch of photos she’s taken in her travels. I keep meaning to take my own road trip down through that beautiful country, but every summer the gas prices swing too high. I’m so grateful to have internet friends who will share with me! This horse had a certainContinue reading “Sunset horse”
Here’s a painting I did last week, it’s 16×20. The sun glare doesn’t help the photo, but it’s pretty in person. They have such dramatic expressions!
I put up this happy goat in my etsy shop today. Go take a look and make me feel better about the lack of hits to it!
Here’s a few of my paintings this week. The goat and bears will be up on ebay this Tuesday, and the Vizsla will be in my etsy shop.
I was talking to a friend about all the photos I take, and I was starting to say how there’s some of them I’ll just never get around to using…like gorilla photos, and pecarys, and giraffes. I didn’t take the reference photo for this bulldog, but I asked the queenoffiftycents if I could use it and she gave me the go-ahead. What a cute dog! The painting turned out pretty good, too, and I put it in my etsy shop.
I’m trying to get my etsy store restocked, but it’s not going to be any quicker than one painting a week. Once I buy some mailing bags I’ll be able to start listing my handbags, but there’s always one more step to doing these things and I don’t think of them all at once (orContinue reading “A grizzly painting”

These are more from photos customers have sent me. I finished painting my last real good grizzly photo, too. It’s not dry yet.Continue reading “This week I painted a few dogs”
I was trying to figure out why last year I was able to get so much more painting done, and I think it just comes down to nap time. This year no naps, and last year there might have been 2 or 3 hours of nap time I could sit and just paint. What aContinue reading “A busy week of painting”
