moving right along (dug-a-dung, dug-a-dung)

The song mirrors my mood working on this quilt. I’m moving along,  s-l-o-w-l-y, but happily.

I’m regretting my choice to do the quilting by hand.

The result is lovely, and I’m sure I’ll be happy at the end, but wow, it’s much more work than I imagined.

All the fabric co-ordinate well, even though they’re from probably four different Tilda collections. I love how she has an over-arching design scheme, so colors from years ago can still be pulled into a current project.

Isn’t that pretty stitching, below?

I love the little birds, and tried to do some fussy-cutting to showcase them.

So glad I’m nearing the home-stretch with this one, though.
