Our weather has marginally improved, and the tulips are emerging from the ground. This year I’m trying to get a head start on the garden by planting all my new stuff in little pots instead of sowing directly in the ground. I think the watering is not enough to get seeds started, or so a neighbor told me. It gets too hot here too quickly. So we’ll see if the little pots pay off. And also, another person told me the tulips die off here if you don’t dig up the bulbs before winter and store them in the refrigerator, because it’s not cold enough here to make the bulbs reproduce.
Gardening is such a lifelong learning curve, and then you move and the weather is all different and you have to learn it again.
So before the gardening (and weeding) season really gets going, I’m still painting.
8″x8″ oil on stretched canvas, SOLD, thank you.
