We went to the “bark in the Park” show, and I got loads of great photos of new faces to paint. Do you know I have never painted a Kerry Blue Terrier? I’ve never even seen one before, but I knew what he was when I saw him.
I talked to the owner and she said the breed is hypo-allergenic, but not as numerous as other breeds kept for low shedding, low allergens. What I *should* have asked was whether they are as easy to train as this one appeared to be (so well-mannered), or if he had taken loads of work.
A little girl spotted this Great Pyrenese and asked if she could, “Pet the lion.” What a cutie. This guy was seriously tall and fluffy, he was waist-high to me.
Both these guys were uncertain of their status. The GS’s owner said it was the dog’s first time for socialization. I don’t know, would you have brought the dog to a high-stress environment for a first time? He did great, though.
Lots of dog agility going on.
A distance off, a baby crow had fallen out of the nest. The parents were loudly warning everyone away; hopefully no cats come along during the night. You don’t really see many baby crows, do you?
These are just a few new faces, I’ve already moved a bunch into my “to-do” folder and will be painting them soon!
