And a few more quilts from the Boardman Quilt Guild show.
And a witch applique. Wouldn’t it be great to have seasonal wall hangings to change out through the year? What a lovely holiday decor to create memories, and pass down to the next generation. I especially like how the fabric used will make the item “dated” and make it more special in twenty years, and thereafter.
This Christmas quilt was daughter’s favorite. All the little embellishments, so much to look at.
The notation with this quilt said that the creator made this as a remembrance of all the doll clothes she had sewn, re-creating those garments in quilt form. What a neat idea.
This little bag didn’t fit anywhere, so I’m adding it here. It looks like a purse which converts into a tote. I love this idea! — Or else it’s a traveling ironing mat? Hmm!
And yep, there are still a couple more quilt posts to come!
